Red and Blue

Why do we flee?
Why do we fight?
How do we tell
What's wrong and what's right?

One steals the fruit,
And then he gets caught.
How can we deny him
The food that he sought?

The night feels cold.
The day burns hot.
Sometimes I don't know
If it's true or it's not.

One country calls false,
The other states true.
As for me, I can't tell
What's red and what's blue.
